Curodont
Back to: Clinical Team Procedures
Curodontâ„¢ is a dental treatment product designed to promote the regeneration of tooth enamel. Clinically, it utilizes a peptide-based technology known as P11-4, which can penetrate early carious lesions and form a scaffold within the demineralized enamel. This scaffold facilitates the remineralization process by attracting calcium and phosphate ions, effectively reversing the caries progression. Curodont is typically applied topically by dental professionals and is particularly effective in treating early-stage caries non-invasively, potentially reducing the need for conventional drilling and filling methods. Clinical studies have shown its efficacy in enhancing enamel regeneration, making it a valuable tool in preventive and restorative dentistry.
