0

Beginning of Day

  • Arrive 30 minutes before first patient

  • Room setup according to standard protocol

  • Room is stocked appropriately for the day

  • Audit charts for the next day

    • identify patients that need perio charting and you need assistants from hygiene assistant

  • Have positive attitude and be ready to treat patients

Downtime

When you have more than 20 minutes open in your appointment book, that equals downtime.  During those times here is the list of items that need to be completed:

  • Help put away the order (usually delivered on Wednesday/Thursday)

  • Make sure sterile is running smooth

  • Check in with the front desk to see what needs to be completed (adjusting appointment times, helping to make hygiene recalls, etc.)

  • Deep Clean your room

  • With pre-approval from team lead, training can be completed during this time.

  • Look to help anesthetize Dr. patients – help bring back doctors patients

  • Chart Audits are only to be completed 1 day prior to the appointment.

There is plenty of work to be completed around the office.  It will take everyone working together to help us reach our goals and our bonus.

Remember – Teamwork makes the dream work!!

End of Day

  1. All chart notes are completed for patients

  2. All chart audits are completed for next day.

    1. This is your job, not the hygiene assistants

  5.  Room is stocked and ready for next day
