Back to: Things Everyone Should Know
Email is a great way to communicate with our referral partners, patients, and anyone who engages with the dental office. Some basic expectations for communicating via email:
Use complete sentences and do not use text language (LOL, BC, RE, ETC)
Be polite and courteous – remember you are creating a written record that patients will reference time and time again.
Be as accurate as possible. Make sure you double check when communicating about patient’s clinical questions that you are delivering accurate information.
Do not use all caps – in written form this is perceived as yelling.
