Whitening Overview

Opalescence is a take home whitening option we use. There are 3 different options we offer with Opalescence:

1. Custom Whitening trays and whitening syringes. We get the patient in to get an iTero scan (if we don’t have a recent one already, message the teams channel for the lab coordinator to make the whitening trays, and a week later deliver the trays in a starter Opalescence kit. The starter kit comes with 8 syringes of gel and instructions. Once they run out of syringes, they can buy refills. The syringes are available in 10% (good for people with sensitive teeth) or 35% (stronger and they don’t have to wear as long).
2. Refill Syringes. These are available in 10% (good for people with sensitive teeth) or 35% (stronger and they don’t have to wear as long). We sell these in packs of 4. If someone already has zoom trays and just wants refills, they can purchase Opalescence refills. If someone is new to whitening trays, they need to purchase the starter kit
3. Opalescence go. These are a one time use strip that has the bleach already in the strip (similar to a Crest white strip). We sell these in packs of 10 (or patient can purchase one as a tester at the front desk). These are great for someone looking for a quick smile refresh (graduation, prom, pictures coming up, etc).
