  • PTO begins to accrue immediately upon hire and may be used after completion of an employee’s introductory period.
  • PTO should be scheduled with as much notice as is possible to not disrupt the workplace; with a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice.
  • Employees will not be able to dip into a negative balance.
  • Once you have used your accrued PTO, you must wait to take PTO until you have a positive balance again.
  • All requests are dependent upon PTO availability and/or other team members having approved PTO.
  • When you would like to request time off, send an email to your team leads and Executives with the dates of your PTO request.
  • Once you have received an approval in response to your email, you will go into your Gusto and add your requested PTO dates.
  • Your team lead/Exec will add this to the Office Schedule in Teams.
